FishDr
I caught my new PB swimbait fish (but not a bass) last week. Gear used Offshore Angler 3-piece heavy travel casting rod Curado 301D 80# PowerPro with an 80-lb Trilene Big Game leader 6.5" Big Hammer tail in Atomic Punk on a Warbaits 10/0 Slayer Head This wels catfish was 6' long, weighed 90 lbs, and took about 12 minutes to land from a drift boat on the Segre R. in Spain. I am somewhere on the far side of stoked! The only way I think I'll top this PB is by going back…I've already started petitioning the powers that be for another return trip! FishDr
Nice fish Doc, she still swimmin ? Yup! She went back and is likely back to terrorizing the carp in the river.

FishDr
Awesome FishDr!!!! are you just visiting spain??? Spain was a bit of a detour on my way to Scotland for business. Okay, it was a 1400-mile, 5-day detour , but the way I figured it, after you've flown clear across the Atlantic Ocean, you might as well make the most of it especially if you're going to be stuck in meetings for a week. I can honestly say that technology is great - I've watched replays of a couple of the fish we caught during the more brain-numbing portions of the meetings.
