KeepinItReelFishing
Hey everyone - Been in the swimbait fishing game for about a year and have amased quite a collection. I'm partial to the MS Slammer and just love using my 7" single joint in perch. Here is my review of it. Thanks! Carl
evilcatfish
Nice video and welcome to the forums! I know you mention being from NJ but don't be scared of the 9" and bigger Slammers. If you look around the forums you will see a lot of East Coast guys doing well with the bigger ones. I've caught 1# fish on the 9" slammer. Also, consider switching out the hooks to Owner St41s or 46s as you'll definitely improve your hookup ratio. I use size 1 on the 7" Oh, and the bait you call the "Eel" is actually the now discontinued "Snake." The eel is similar but has a rubber worm tail instead of the thick segmented tail
MA Frog Man
Once you throw the 9" you will wonder why you ever got the 7". At least I did. In my opinion it still catches the same fish but allows for a bigger bite at the same time. I've caught fish that weren't even keepers to fish most 8 pounds
FishDr
Nice review and quality video editing. I've been a fan of the 7" Slammer for a long time, and still use them regularly, most often when I'm targeting northerns.

Rharris918
Just caught my first fish on a slammer! Love how versatile the bait is
FishDr
I've "discovered" a new use for the 7" Slammer - big walleyes at night! I don't think they'll work all the time, but under certain conditions when the big toothy critters are hunting along hard edges at night, they seem to be the ticket.
