My curados have a phillips screw to switch them out. The calcutta has something that looks like a regular screw driver but I'm not sure. GrantG Posted December 26, 2010 Report Share Posted December 26, 2010 The te knobs come off. You can use the tool that came with the reel, or a flat head screwdriver. It depends on the type of knob you bought, it may or may not work on the 300te handle posts. If its made for shimano reels, it will probably work. Locate a conquest handle or get a custom crank from one of the aftermarket manufacturers and you can add 4 more bearings to the reel.
