J_Carp313
Hey guys I'm pretty new to swimbait fishing and am looking to get a bluegill bait. I already have a shell cracker and love it, but I'm looking for a sinking bait. I have been looking at the Got em coach gills quite a bit, and was wondering how they are. I would love to be able to get a hard gill, but they are much harder to come by it seems. Any other baits to look into at all? Any feedback helps! JTSwimbaitMan
I would say add about $25 to the price of a Gotem coach and get a bullshooter jr. khadee89
Austen
Not sure if he is making baits at the moment but might want to check out an MCL 3 pc gill. I plan on picking one up in the next few weeks or so
Austen
Just for clarification MCL is Morgan Custom Lures
SPEEDBEAD
If you can source one, get the Hardgill. The MCL bluegill wake is a serious bait man. Put your big boy pants on for that one. Fat-G
llPa1nll
Mattlures Hardgill, best bluegill hard swimbait out there in my opinion. Mad Scientist

WABASSER
I agree that the hardgills are the best as well, but if you can't find one, I'd say Got'Em Coach. They're on sale for 49.99$ on there site right now! You really can't beat that
llPa1nll
Trust me they are out there, have some patience, you will find them. I did. Last year this time I didn't have any. Good to know. Gonna have to grab one for the warm weather.
smalliebigs
Hardgills are awesome. The big size is sold out of sinking, but there are some baby hardgills in several sink rates and colors available on mattlures website right now. Triple trout bluegill has been good also. It is a little thicker and less thump. TW usually has them in stock.
Dancran
MCL also makes a glide gill that's pretty sweet but it's a slooow bait Fishingallday31
