Thanks in advance its a okuma guide select 7111xh 2-10oz paired with a 300 cardiff I tried to find him a all around round , hes a really tiny guy so the reel is a little big but he loves it. Im really surprised by the performance of the okuma rod for 120$ . He does look like he has a log in his hand lol Edited May 18, 2015 by JeremyW

T Dot
I am trying to find a cost effective setup. I am sure to lose a rod/reel or 2 within the next couple of years. Is your son casting by himself? Did you ever think of using a spinning combo? everythingthatswims
