Riffmeister
~ Finnally finnished my recent bait.... 8" long solid hickory, glide bait (a.k.a= Filthy stranger) is done.....crazy labor time on this bait. seven hours on first day, and almost eight yesterday... but by the end of yesterday i was able to test it and get a bite already...... crazy to think it was a axe handle a couple days ago !!!! btw it is very hard to work with hickory but it doesnt take much to ballast it !! good stuff and harder than steel !!! bait is 8 1/8" long with ss eyes and owner hardware. plan on getting some definite use out of it ~ VAngler

Riffmeister
used a heavy primer base , didnt start with a seal. I might epoxy this one yet ~ i didnt want to seal it first just in case i wanted to change the color scheme or reshape a section or reduce weight. but i may just leave it and seal the sh#t out of it with a epoxy coat, but for now it just has a heavy clear coat
