I believe the state record is yours for the taking, because you are definately in an area or two that could be holding it. What is that state record anyway ? Could be the next cast.... My 250 was swimming around and could'nt see where it was going and ran into this behemoth....... After that day on the water......Yes the bait is RETIRED its not gonna get any better than that. Wally, The Texas State Record is 18.18 lbs. 25.5 length caught on 01/24/1992 by Barry StClair from Lake Fork. 50th place in the state is 15.38 .
