CJS2500
Has anyone ever thrown any swimbaits in Oahu, saltwater or fresh? I'll be staying close to the beach so salt info would be preferable. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.
ATFISHING1234
There was a report a while back either in the Flipside or Got'em on Oahu. I know there is a resevoir there that has peacocks and largies and someone on here fished it with swimmies just cant remember who. Personally I lived there for a year a while back but I only fished off shore.
bassbass
That was me. If you look in the got'em you will see it. I fished lake Wilson for Peacock using the mini Pats perch. My guide was Chris Wright, he was on that Top Hooker show. When he seen the swimbaits we was like no way are you going to get a fish on that. Then he was like wow. gznuts, johnnnydukess, JTSwimbaitMan and 8 others

Fishaman20
I used to live out there years ago and caught my pb 8.5 on a Zara spook. There's some weird fish in Lake Wilson from people emptying their aquarium pets in the water but I think any tilapia or cichlid type swimbait would work and definitely a top water wake type. I think a giron would probably be killer over there. Too bad swimbaits weren't around when I lived there back in the day.
