Craig Posted November 26, 2015 Report Share Posted November 26, 2015 DAMN! I just missed a bus. I needed to drive past a decent fishing spot for work his morning. Naturally I packed the rod, some swimbaits and my scale. It was bucketing down with rain that I hadn't predicted but I popped out for a few casts anyway. 2nd cast and I though I saw the glidebait move sideways as if something had swiped at it. I cast again and bus just cruised out from the cover and gave the glide a good smack. Like and excited teenager I struck way too soon and it didn't stick. That was the last I saw of her. She was at least 5ld, probably nowhere near enough to win SUB November but it would have been great to have been on the leader board for a while. NOTING ALL DAY.Was sulking at home before supper when the wife kicked me out telling me not to come home until I've caught a fish and cheered up. 19h36 and finally my first fish of the day. 4.45lb which, at just over 2kg, is the biggest fish I've landed on that lake.
