  1. You can see this like just needs to get it's final weighting and swimtest.
  2. Nice looking lure so far. I do all my lures with weights inserted at the joints. Best thing about it is you can adjust the weight a bit after painting and epoxy. Once it's 100% dialed in you just need to seal it at those points which doesn't effect the paint job.
  3. 2 good bites are better than none... Next time they'll stick.
  4. Great compilation! Thanks for sharing.
  5. rushed the painting a bit but how about this? 5" slow sink.
  6. So something like this or more "Sexy shad" with black dot and chartreuse stripe?
  7. Hi all, it’s been a while since I posted. My season was dismal. I started off with a 1st and 3rd place in my regional tournament series but things went downhill from there. I managed to cling on to 6th place overall though which was good enough to get me into the South African FLW Small Craft Final. Top 4 places qualified to fish the FLW Costa Series Friendship Tour Final on Guntersville in November. It was a tough Final (only 4 anglers got bag each day) and I was well off the pace. However, 2 young brothers from my region made 1st and 3rd place and will be flying off to the USA in under 2 months. Besides that fact that both are really good sticks they are also fantastic guys (humble, honest, gentlemen and Christians). They are well rounded anglers but both throw swimbaits when they can and I’d like to make them a few for the tournament. Any advice on swimbaits for August on Guntersville will be greatly appreciated - type, pattern or techniques. Also, if anyone (a) knows a tackle supplier who might be willing to sponsor them, or (b) is familiar with Lake Guntersville and will be willing to give them some general fishing advice, please message me.
  8. Awesome job! Are you putting micro balloons into the resin and then adding ballast? If not that might be your problem getting it to swim right.

I'd take one of those every night. Great fish. Well done Mike
  13. Always good to see guys catch quality fish! I'm having a horrible season with only 1 fish close to th 5lb mark. By my calculations Will's 7.09 + 2 (AZ Handicap) = 9.09 which just beats Jun's 9.01. I presume u were both using decimal places and not ounces? What a tight finish! Congrats Will. Looks like you sqeaked through on this one thanks to you fish's last meal.
  14. 2 great fish! Nice going Will and Jun! What state is Deps City in?
  15. Awesome day Grady! thanks for sharing.

You are a patient man! I suspect one of those kayakers would have gone home wearing a Swimbait Hat if they had done that to most other fisherman
  17. Hi Mike. I've just redesigned the Tweek in resin. Moving from wood has enabled me to do a line through and a few other things. It's a bit of a longer shape than the original but I've done a 2 piece glide and a 4 pieces with a smoother action. Obviously both designed to fish the bottom contours. Testing is going well and I should have them for sale soon. $48 to your door. Give me a shout on craig@crossmanlures.com
