Franklin
I watched the newer I-Rod large break on a snag and that has discouraged me from purchasing that rod even with the good customer service.
BigSlant
I have 7 I rods...just had my first break in a tourney...for the money they have out performed other rods I have...however due to handle length I prefer to throw my large baits obviously my phenix custom builds and dobyns 867...my first dealing with Irod warranty and Matt responded personally in minutes...far less rods break than are out fishing... SpaceGhost
Matt told me the large swim is made for the 250... he said jumbo is to big I confused the jumbo w the xl sb. Either way, the large is not a 250 rod. Best punker rod I've ever used though. M4TT, BigSlant and northeast_trev
Lakeshark
I asked Matt what he would recommend for the 250 and he told me the "xl swim" was made with that bait in mind. It throws it well. I also enjoy throwing hudds on it. Rated 3-10 oz.

BigSlant
I know this is a swimbait thread but I broke my stone cold swim and vibrating jig rod during my last tourney...the warranty thru irod is great...$70...no questions asked and super fast turn around...from break to replacement in about a week...Matt and irod are a+
