jmurawski
I was just wondering how everyone stores there rods at home. My house has rather short ceilings so my rods are difficult to store in my house. Any idea on horizontal storage would be appreciated. scoopdaloop
Damn how low are your ceilings? I'd just make a simple rack to mount them horizontally. You can go as simple as hooks or make something nice out of wood.
Max_Dispoto
I made a simple wooden rod rack. 2 boards with pegs sticking out of them. Cheap and gets the job done
jmurawski
There only 7'9 apparently that was a common ceiling height when my house was built. So my 7'6 rods fit fine but my 8's are a little bit of an issue. I like the wood rack idea. timcauliffe
I had a set of vertical rod racks from BPS that wouldn't work with the wall height in my garage. Turned them horizontal and mounted them on the wall. Still works great. Plus, they were cheap.
D.Harper603
Most places like bass pro or anywhere that has a decent selection of fishing gear sells wall mounted rod racks.

flyforfish21
I built this one for like $10 maybe. Piece of wood was around $5, Plastidip'd the wood after drilling with hole saw. Super easy, and got the rods off the floor. I had the same low ceiling issue in that room. jmurawski
