I never had a scale untill I joined this site, when I wanted it for a PB smallie it wasn't working! As long as you know, that's what matters most. Checked out some spots in the morning and didn't fish much. Found a little cove holding a lot of lose bait and some smaller fish eating them. Made a mental note and kept searching. A few hours went by and decided to check out the spot. I pull up and first cast was a nice long cast down the middle channel of the cove. Didn't let the bait sink and started to wake it. I brought it to the edge of a weed bed and watched her shoot up to it and roll on it. She crushed it. Got her to the boat and snapped some pictures but the scale wasn't working well so didn't get a solid weight.
