The lake I was fishing has really clear water and I'd seen a few follow but wouldn't commit. I even had my gillrilla tied on and would follow up with it thinking maybe the size of the bait was the turn off but that didn't pan out. This fish was following on a slow steady retrieve and I decided to do a quick crank up then pause and when the bait paused it kinda fluttered on it's side and that's when she inhaled it.
