Jace D
I believe it's a 795 not 796 but I like mine. I use it as my a-rig and deep cranking rod though, not really swimbaits. I don't really throw any swimbaits under 4 oz and this rod is not really good for heavy baits. Fantastic for a-rigs though. I have a Tatula HD on it. danthefisherman
I heard that the guide selects are tip heavy and the fury's are a more balanced rod in the price range. just something to consider. Heard this too...I was just worried that the Fury isn't as suitable for 4 oz baits as the Okuma, but I think I'm leaning more towards this rod now. 96tracker
I bought mine a couple months ago to replace a POS cabelas swimbait rod. It's been great for me! Seems like it's a little more parabolic then the other rod I had but throws whatever you want a long ways and has good sensitivity. Can't beat it for the price if you ask me. Sbrown
I throw the Hud 68 and savage gear gills on this rod with a calcutta 200-300. also handles the s wavers great. for smaller baits wouldnt go chuckn the 8 in Huds on it tho. lamorindafishing
I have one, and i like it a lot actually. Take care of it tho the paint scratches easily. Struggles throwing baits over 4 ounces. But its perfect for anything under. Getting an irod large swim for the bigger stuff tho.
