brushhawg1
My first late night session of the year with a storm going through the area and major lunar activity going on I figured I would give it a shot. Started the night by hanging up my Swim Baby E in bluegill , which sucked since it had been a good producer in the past. I threw my new Slammer for a bit and an SS in 175 size but got nothing. That little voice in my head told me to tie on the 68. Made multiple cast on channel coming up to a flat. Finally my line just got heavy and I swung on it and the fight was on. Netted this beauty, I had some scale issues, first it went 7.17 then died and when I reset it it read 6.59. I thought it looked bigger , but I just have to settle for near 7 and I put some fresh batteries in the scale. Over all a successful trip for a couple of hours.
