FishDr
That Louisville Slugger Slammer is awesome! Do you cast it or just troll it for beast northerns? Mike is a great guy to work with - he's made a bunch of custom Slammers for me (all but one have been as gifts for friends, including a matched set of 12, 9, 7, and Mini-Slammers in the bride's favorite colors and the groom's favorite colors). I've got a few Slammers of my own, but now I'm thinking that I need more - especially in Minis and 12". largemouth, Luke1046 and yev14

waynem
My oldest Slammer. It's a lot skinnier than the newer ones and cranks down about 4 feet with little effort. Had my best day swimbait fishing using this bait. og slammer.jpgog slammer born on date.jpg Chuck- for years I've been hearing you should always buy the fattest Slammer you can find. Now everyone will be looking for the skinniest Slammers they can find!
Luke1046
When did Mike start producing these baits to the general public. What are some of the earliest dates you have all seen?

Phishfil
This is my oldest slammer. Dated 01. Had it repainted a few years ago. It's responsible for probably a couple hundred fish, with a few over 10. It'll wake on top and has a great 'hunting' action on the burn. Dives down to about 4 or 5ft. waynem, Codyc, Luke1046 and 2 others
Luke1046
The lips on the ones not dated are thick. I just now noticed that. Codyc
