I bought a Mother for my brother for helping me work on my house and it has a similar issue after only two short trips. I’m going to take it back to the tackle shop where I got it and see what can get worked out. Never hit any rocks or anything else with it so kinda bummed about this after paying full retail to get someone a nice gift and having it start falling apart.
