danthefisherman
What do you guys think are some standard foot/second sink rates for slow, medium, and fast sinking hard baits? I generally fish shallow water, but most hard baits are advertised as slow, medium, or fast sink which makes things confusing because it all sounds relative to me. A hard bait sinking one foot per second (like a ROF 5 hudd) sounds pretty fast personally, but then again I'm not used to deep water has Thanks for your input! bassbass
I think it is inch per second. I think a XXS is a 2-3 and a SS is a 4-5. Give or take. basskickinrednick and danthefisherman
Angryjohn
Yeah I was also wondering this. Matt lures uses a wide range of sink rates on his site and I did not see them defined on his site. Is there an expectation or industry standard
