rogers954
So this may be a weird one but considering the whole big bait big fish life style i think it makes sense to ask. Since I’m doing a lot more solo fishing these days (got my first boat late last year) i find I’m in need of a good C/R net. This may seem silly to ask about’ but with reviews so hit or miss on TW on different nets i really don’t feel like dropping $50+ on a net that’s a POS, so anyone got a recommend on a decent net? tHeINFamoUS
Nah, I boat flip anything under 20lbs I have a bass pro xps rubber net, with small mesh and the widest hoop(cant remember tbe size offhand). So far i dont have any complaints and if i ever need to replace the netting due to uv damage etc they sell replacements. I have had crappy collapsible nets in the past for my kayak, they all broke eventually. rogers954

Thanks I’ll take a look at there’s, I’m not looking for something out of this world amazing or anything like that just don’t want to drop the coin and get a pile of crap that’s gonna break or cost me a good fish. I usually prefer to flip myself but there are definitely times when she’s only got it barely by a hook point and I’d rather play it safe, one thing i don’t like is dealing with smallies and frank baits those these always go nuts the second there on the deck and I’ve almost been stuck a million times, would just be easier netting them. HelpMePickABobber
Dang 52 views and no ones got a net that’s worth a damn I bought a frabill with rubber net for fifty or sixty bucks. Year later it hasn't broken and it lands fish. That's all i need it to do.
northeast_trev
+1 on the rubber net. Get one with a wide loop and an adjustable handle
