Mike Posted March 29, 2018 Report Share Posted March 29, 2018 I’ll try to make a longer story short so here it goes... I bought a Hot Foot and a Hot Foot adjustable mount from TW. When they arrived prior to taking the adjustment plate out of the packaging I put the Hot Foot on the bracket and the holes are to narrow for the bracket either way u flip the pedal. I emailed TH Marine to inquire about the issue and was told.... No matter how u move the pedal the holes don’t get any wider on the base plate. I don’t feel that a bracket that was made to fit another part should have to be modified to fit a part it was designed to fit in the first place. Truth be told I am more then capable of drilling and tapping new holes however I still feel my time is worth something and shouldn’t have to do it. I would have bought a raw aluminum plate if that’s what I wanted to do with my time. Just frustration and wanted others to be made aware or the much less then ok response I got. ... or maybe I’ve been in customer service to long my self???
