ST-35 for Triple Trout?

Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you have been using the owner st-35's on your triple trouts? I recently got my first two triple trouts and for now plan to keep the stock trebles, but was going to get some replacements (or I might change out the stocks if you think it is worth it). The st-36's I have seemed like the shank was too long to not foul, I was wondering if the st-35's had a short enough shank to better match the stock hooks? Also size recommendations for the 8" and 6" would be helpful. Thanks!
