A couple peacocks from this afternoon

I hate when the peacocks are hugging the wall I’m standing on. Makes for some interesting fishing. It’s always weird to pitch a swimbait ahaha

They just put that railing from the video in a few days ago so there used to be grass there for me to let the fish down onto when I would flip them up the walls 

I was trying not to have the fish flap around on jagged asphalt aha

I used to slam the peacocks at Coral Reel Park on 152nd street east of US1.....course it was back in 1990.....they had just been introduced a few years earlier

@Archtx9 I have really gotten into fishing for them since I started swimbaiting because they fight so hard and I can fish for them the same way I do for largemouth. It’s a win-win aha

Peacocks are the reason I starting fishing with a golf glove.   You lip a peacock and it clamps down on your thumb, doesn’t go limp like the largemouth.   the peacock “Velcro” teeth are like a wire brush.
