i feed fish
Have you considered contacting the manufacturer or do you just want to know what the peanut gallery thinks? I broke one of my shell crackers tails towards the end of last year, shot black dog and email and got a new one in less than a week. They will even replace it for you if you contact them and send in the bait.

They sent me two replacement tails and instructions how to fix it. I need to quit tossing baits onto the rocks.......

mmasturgeon
I say give them a call; Most likely you will be talking to Grant. He is one cool dude always glad to help. As for the wooden Shell Cracker, the new ones will be coming out soon. But please just give Grant a call and he will give you more info regarding a replacement tail. -Jun
dan-k
I broke my shell cracker tail last week during a good bite. I had several S-waiver tails on board so I modified one to fit by expanding the holes some and trimming the front by about 1/8"..... Worked great in a pinch!!!
