I'd really only suggest it for weedless baits (like 12/0 beast hook). Even exposed jig hook baits I'd probably opt for a little softer rod if I had to replace mine. Oh, I almost forgot...the handles are VERY short. Like 13-14 inches from the butt to the reel seat if I remember correctly. Most of you guys probably won't like that.
