Shimano Calcutta 400TEs $215 each tyd

(Both Shimano Calcutta 400TEs have obvious wear, both in complete working condition except one of them has a disengaged clicker. They both were just maintenance serviced at East County Bait and Tackle in San Diego, Ca. The tech said one model is older and is a real pain to reengage clicker and i told him not to worry about it cause i never use it. Both will still pull in giants.)

Compared to a 300e which casts further?

I had both. 300e casts farther because the TE has a non-disengaging levelwind which does slow the spool a little bit. Plus the spool on the TE is much larger and so it doesn't spin as quickly during the initial part of the cast.
