jakem1895
I’ve been having some good success with wakebaits and big paddle tail softbaits this summer, but I was wondering if anyone has success fishing glide baits during these hot months. I haven’t put much time into them this summer and I don’t hear much about it during the summer. Also here is a six pounder I stuck last week on an 8 inch magdraft 253caster, J3DoubleG, CaliBassin and 2 others
Texasfishn
Summer glide action isn’t as hot as spring or fall but it works. jakem1895 and AllThingsFishing
253caster
Summer is prime for a glide bite up here in Washington. Our fish respond a lot better to them in the heat. Try different speeds and throw some erratic action in and around any shade you can find. Or off of long points that have weeds or sunken timber. If your lake has floating docks or bouy lines/booms in open water those are always good areas for summertime suspending fish. Just get out there and cover water. If your fish will respond to it, you should find out pretty quick. danthefisherman, jakem1895 and basskickinrednick

Mossypumpkin
I’ve caught as many summer glide fish in my life as I have caught summer wake bait fish in 10 minutes lol jakem1895

thebeardedbassman
Like @253caster said, they work out here in Oregon as well during the hot months of summer. Been whackin nice smallies here in Oregon this summer on the Workhorse. I fish deep structure and points, same spots you'd throw a jerkbait, but upsized. This one hit right below the surface in 120ft of water near a bridge piling. AllThingsFishing and danthefisherman
