    Don’t overthink the color thing. Get one that looks natural and it’ll do the job. I’ve had success with ghost ayu more than any color on New England. Doesn’t look like anything in particular we have up here.

    Fall has been treating me well in northern New England. Caught my pb two weeks ago on an s waver 200. Stuck a high 6 on the gantarel as well as my first fish on a 250! I lost a giant on the 250 today as well. Not exactly sure what happened but I had a good Hook set and one reel turn later the fish spit the bait. It gave me a ton of confidence though and I know it’s only a matter of time before I catch a giant on it.

    Tranx 301hg for sale or trade for 400 lefty reels. Has one season on it. Looking for Calcutta 401s and tranx 401 in low gear. $180 for tranx. Would consider trades for baits too

    I’ve always used decoys. Never had one fail and I feel like I get better movement out of the baits. I’ve bounced fish up to 7lbs on them and never had one bend or come undone.
