Noreaster603 Posted August 1, 2019 Report Share Posted August 1, 2019 This looks like an older or malnourished fish to me the head didn't match the body at all and only went 3lbs 2 oz. Been working on throwing the 316 freestyle and other trick baits more in an effort to diversify my swimbait game. Fish fell for an erratic retrieve with rod snaps and pauses. It honestly makes me wonder if colors that are unnatural and stand out more or matching the hatch works more often.
