chefchris Posted August 13, 2019 Report Share Posted August 13, 2019 some odd by catches from last season. big bullfrog was sitting off to the side of a rock i was fishing off of. On one of my casts i had a couple followers and worked the savage gill in super close and when i lifted it, the frog swallowed it and didn't want to let go. crazy how they'll eat anything that gets close enough to them. Thats the full size savage gill btw also caught this small snapper on a BPS bullshad rip off, was casting parallel to the shore and he grabbed it as it swam pass its hole I guess, thought i finally had a new pb. Luckily it had only gotten one hook in its mouth and I was able to crush the barb and pop it out without too much fuss or risk getting bit.
