tybo jones Posted October 12, 2019 Report Share Posted October 12, 2019 had a couple of debacles one involving a backlash that then got sucked up in the trolling motor ripping the rod right out of my hand. That really made the backlash dig in. Took over 20 minutes to pick out. Very frustrating. Regrouped, retied, and got started again. Had a follow that turned off down the bank. Fired a long cast down that bank and got her hit a 7” triple trout in perch. Had a lot of action Dropped another big one at the boat. set the hook on a monster that death rolled and came unbuttoned.
