Using the reel you will get the typical side to side glide, has a slower sink so you can keep it up in the water column if needed and count it down. It can also be worked fast without blowing out. NikLaw1 Posted October 20, 2019 Report Share Posted October 20, 2019 Went out for an hour and a half. 40 degrees out with 20mph winds, it was pretty miserable. Started with a top hook rising son with nothing. Switched over to the Sly shiner. First cast I had a 5lbr nose down the bait but wouldn't commit. Slow sink was about 1' a second on 20# fluro. Glide was about 18"-24" and looks incredible. Bait would blow out on anything faster than a medium retrieve. I'm really excited about it.
