swimbaits_only
Has anybody tried tuning a new style silent killer 250 into a slide swimmer? Trying to figure out how heavy of lead to put in the front slot. Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated

El_Weruso
There are YouTube videos of this, the exact weight for the front weight pocket varies.
SethMuffinson
Each one is different. Havent messed with new style but other threads that are easy to find will say. Use Lead strips or tungsten putty. Have a bucket with some water or bathtub. Pull the skin off. Add some lead tape to the bottom or putty in the slots. test, add some more. you find the right sink rate put it back together
Nufo
the rear weight in the new style is inside the plastic. It still can be done but will be nose up version if you want it to be slow sink. If you want it to get down add more weight to the front and its solid for fishing deeper.
