basslegion
Do not spam DRT they will not give a date and don't spam me thanks. Just keep a look out!!!!! Stop paying over priced klashes, some abs plastic not worth $200. They're great baits but the flipping prices are ridiculous, if you got the money go for it, I'm just gonna wait and restock when they hit. Just remember the are now 5 USA dealers, they all have a supply waiting to come in one day. Mossypumpkin
Unless it’s a REALLY big restock, it’s only going to help the guys who can sit at their computer or phone refreshing the page. The reality is 90% of us at sleeping or working during releases, which means 10% of people will end up with the baits, thus high prices will remain. PKNNH
I just wish they were transparent as to why they have such a hold up. It doesn't make sense that they can't pump out some baits every so often but they can make a ton of collab and proto type baits. gtw7983
Way too much whining! Most innovative and Smartest bait making operation ever in my opinion! You really think if the supply is high, the demand will still be high? Lol. Look at Hinkle! Nobody wants a Hinkle nowadays even below retail; but most guys are willing to pay above retail for a rare 3:16. Is it because 3:16 catches more fishes than Hinkle? Think about it and stop whining! You pay to play. End of the story. Mossypumpkin, El_Weruso, basskickinrednick and 1 other
Jack
It's all about the hype. Deps did this same thing back in the day. Release a few then you can't get them for a while, then release some more and then, you can't get them for a while, make a limited release and then you can't get them for a long time. It is a marketing scheme. If you think that you can't get the bait or that the manufacturer is not going to be able to keep up with demand it does 2 things. One it keeps the interest up in the bait. The bait may not even be that great of a bait, but if it is marketed this way it seems like everyone HAS TO HAVE ONE!. Two, it drives the prices up ,up, up. Let's be real, the bait probably shouldn't cost more than about $30.00 . But, make a "limited supply", watch what the demand is for resale, raise the retail price and release another "limited supply" and just keep playing the game until the retail price gets way up there and then you flood the market with the bait and they make their BIG PAY DAY and all of a sudden you can get one any time you want one. Marketing scheme! AND LOOK.............IT WORKS. We will all be holding our breath waiting for the next "drop". What is funny is that guys always whine and complain when a marketing scheme works the way it is supposed to; and laugh at one that does not. If you whine; it only means you will most likely push a failed marketing campaign when you are in that position. Nobody is forced to buy anything! If you don’t like how a brand operates, boycotts it! It will only drive the prices down.......
basslegion
Yeah I see the marketing scheme they have, and its seems like its working out for them. I know roman made are hand made baits, but I think they also fallow the same marketing technique.
