Jinxd12 Posted February 25, 2020 Report Share Posted February 25, 2020 Finally got out after work today. Been awhile! I was dead walking a TK, and felt like a small pull on my line. Set the hook didn't feel a thing. I continue to slowly reel, and it pulls again WTF. Maybe I'm in some grass in a lake that doesn't have grass usually. Set the hook again, nothing. Decided to reel in quick to throw out again, as I'm reeling fast I feel another little pull. Now I'm confused!!! 15 feet out I see what looks like a branch, it's not a branch! It's a damn fishing pole! I get the pole out of the water, and begin to reel in the line that's in the water from the zebco 202 I just reeled in haha. The rod almost gets yanked out of my hand. FISH ON! I'm assuming it's original 6-8# test so I take my time. I reel in a damn catfish! About 30 minutes later a dude and his kids are walking around the park, i ran over to them and gave them the rod and reel which still had the Walmart plastics and stickers on it. Kids were super happy. All they needed was some hotdogs for bait now.
