oregon scene question

hey dudes new guy here, martin "goodfella", I'm from so cal been fishing the salt/fresh water bass for a long time and now relocating to oregon because of my job so i was wondering what the swimbait scene was like up there, does anyone know, any help would be much appreciated, tight lines.

Not to say there aren't any other swimbaiters there, but one of the best on this site is Colby. I'm sure he could help you out.

moving to gresham, close to portland, I'm sure you know but its new to me, i will be working on the field a lot so i will always have a bass rod with me, i will probably spot bass holes before finding the work sites :lol: i know theirs bass around but do they bite the big swimbaits well? my brother likes trout fishing but when i get there i will teach him bass fishing, dude doesn't know what he is missing 8-)

Yep Oregon fish eat swimbaits. Looks like youll be up by the Columbia, world class smallie fishing there used to be a topshelf swimbaits video shot on the big C, small swimbaits but toad smallies. Most lakes/ponds OR offer fish over 5-6lbs, some even bigger 8#+. I have heard of some lakes a ways into WA with good tiger musky fishing too.
