I’ll take both some days, other days it’s only fly or only swims or only conventional. That being said, I get more joy catching fish on swimbaits than I do a spinning rod. The same can be said for fly tackle over baitcasting gear. Is it always the most effective? No. But it’s how I want to catch them if I can.
