Picked up a couple of the Real Keta Hasu color. Fished it yesterday and left the chartreuse on the tail section. Bait looks killer but I just don’t have the confidence in it with that, so I got out some acetone and took care of it. It really is a sweet looking bait, and perhaps I’ll grab another and keep the chartreuse tail on there.

What’s wrong with chartreuse

I’m sure it’s fine, I just don’t think it’s natural so my preference is to remove it. San Diego lakes are heavily pressured and I typically like to have more natural colors on things for my own confidence.

My Flash carp 250 gets hammered so I like the real keta hasu as almost a brighter version of the same for when water is a little murky. I think it looks much more pleasing without the bright yellow tail.

I also think 250s are easy enough to work properly that I don’t need the color there to help me see what’s going on. After a while Of throwing them they become second nature.
