FishNH89
I can’t seem to make the lil chorizo to a wim correctly 7 out of 10 casts its hooks itself the line the bill or a fin It’s very disappointing I spend more time retrieving a messed up lure then actually fishing it does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone have suggestions on how to correct this problem changing hooks or rings etc?
castandblast
I've had the same issue, haven't taken the time to change hooks but pretty sure that'll fix it. Planning on switching to KVD triple grip elite 1/
SumoNinja
I have that issue with the older version whippersnapper. Front hook fouls a lot on a cast. Fouls on the lip or line or both. Out of 10 casts it fouls 2-4 times. Pretty annoying
Zigtherat
I have a mink that does this too. Typically the line gets stuck to the front hook so I was thinking about switching the hook to a size smaller or maybe take the ring off the line tie but I don't want to affect the action of the bait. It's got a killer knock to it when it doesn't foul up so I still like using it but it does get frustrating.
FishNH89
I’m gonna change out the hooks and use a egg snap
Kyle1387
Not sure what line your using but when using straight braid on my trap gill I have a similar issue. Found that by really trying to "guide" the lure and make it fly tail first w your thumb on the spool really helps Hubbardtlr
