Thiskidlikes2fish
I have been wanting to work on something to try and sell but for my lures I have been using Devcon 2 ton 30 min epoxy but I lose a lot of detail. Any thoughts on another clear coat I should use but I can’t do an automotive clear, I also haven’t tried thinking my epoxy but I am trying that next. chefchris
Use a better two part epoxy, Devcon is great for epoxying hardware or eyes/hook hangers not great for top coat

You may also want to invest in a good bait turner. BigBaitThirty

Rogervang
Kbs spray is ok in my experience. its convenience, but not durable. Its easily scratched. Took one of my bait out for two night run. Fished it hard and caught some good fish but it looked like it's been fished for 3 months. I've used the KBS spray for a good number of years now and it's ok...great for a quick coat during prototyping but has a strong odor for awhile and will scratch off pretty quickly. I would triple coat your baits and let them fully dry for 24 hours at the very least before introducing them to the water. 2K automotive clear is what I use now and it is great! The downsides are that it is a bit more expensive and you'll have to use a whole can in short order. I keep the KBS spray handy for prototyping and will apply 2K automotive on a batch of baits that I want the paint to last longer. bassmaster1
I’ve been using alumi-uv and really like it. Really fast cure time and it seems pretty durable so far BigBaitThirty
