Kyle1387
** before I start I dont want anyone thinking I'm bashing realprey. Its most likely my fault. The baits he makes are legit Bought a 10 inch realprey a couple months ago and swam perfect out of package. With cold water finally here I pulled it out to start creeping and now it only swims back super sideways. Ive loaded tungsten in the opposite side but now it just is a little better. Can these baits be boiled back or just keep loading more lead in it? Edited October 21, 2020 by Kyle1387
LightsOutLitch
Have you done anything else with it since the first time you used it and is the tail kinked all? That does seem weird. Just ordered a 7.25 forage a few days ago and looking forward to testing it out on some of these CT bass this fall, winter, spring.
Kyle1387
Its just been sitting in a box. Doesn't even seem kinked at all. Swam great when i first got it. Weird part is it still sits on bottom perfectly straight

LightsOutLitch
I think if you go to real prey's website you can email him with any questions. Also, is the line tie strait?
Kyle1387
Yes line tie is straight. Was planning on emailing him if no one here has had this happen. Was more just trying to ask if I can boil the silicone without it.deforming
Bass the east
Email joe with your number and he will probably call you and get you straightened out for sure
NEbucketmouth19
I'd email Joe but boiling silicon probably won't work. It behaves a lot differently than the plastisol many soft plastic baits are made with.
Mossypumpkin
I think he’s on here but can’t remember his name. Def email him. He will fix you up
chefchris
ive had one that did something similar, it just got whacked around and the line tie looked straight but it was off, i have his number if you want I can message him for you @Kyle1387
dheath2
RJOE on here but he’s rarely on. Just email or call him. Or message on Facebook. He’s the best as far as customer service goes. Awesome guy.
dheath2
Boiling won’t do anything. Is it off at all retrieve speeds?

urbanhick
If it's BB rigged with to big of a hook that could tip the bait. I have 2 and they both swim great BB rigged. He is a good friend of mine if you can't get ahold of him I can probably help you out in that regard.
