  1. I’ve owned a few F5’s if you are looking for the more parabolic rods, the ghost code 710 and 800 would be more your style. If you go full custom, you’d like the blk710 blank for the smaller stuff and the custom MH blank for 3-5 oz baits.
  2. Check to see if you are missing the felt pad that is supposed to be underneath your spool tension knob
  3. I typically start my early season with smallmouth fishing up here in NH. The smallies migrate in big waves late winter/early spring which makes it fairly easy to get them at certain pinch points along their journey. My first trip out and first fish of the year happened to be this 5lb 1oz smallmouth. Beating my previous 2 time PB by almost a pound. I casted to the bottom of a 20’ pool and bottom bounced the real prey 4” mean n nasty. As I was bringing the bait back in the fish must’ve followed the bait out of the hole and smoked it hard. These bigger smallies sure are fun to catch. Dobyns 744xp Shimano slx xt 8/1 real prey mean n nasty 15lb seguar invisx
  4. Get both. You’ll see in real time which one is more affective in your lake.
  5. I’ve been fishing toxics since you were making them in your garage and I love to see your company grow like this. Keep up the great work. You’ve earned some life long customers here.
  6. Looking to trade this Hardgill floater for a slow or medium sink. Preferably similar color.

  8. I’m toying around the idea of trying some new line simply to achieve further casting distance. I have been running p line ultimate fluorocarbon, big game mono, and p line cxx copolymer. I run multiple reels with all three types of line for each of their specific benefits. The lines I am using are relatively thick in diameter. 20lb big game mono .457 17lb p line cxx .41 20lb p line floro .41 Now I have not had a single issue with these lines. Am noticing that there are much thinne 20lb lines like Sunline natural mono, p line original copoly, and Sunline fc sniper. These lines are all under .37 My question is will I be sacrificing line strength and reliability with these thinner lines? And is it worth the extra casting distance?
