Delaware
So buddy of mine went to clean his Shimano SLX DC and now the anti-reverse won't engage He's taking it apart for different times tried switching the washers around every time and still can't get the anti-reverse to engage I haven't personally put my hands on it to see the problem just trying to help him diagnose it over the phone through text messages any ideas on what the problem could be I've sent him videos and schematics on the real and he said he's tried everything and nothing seems to be working

CaliBassin
Did he put oil in it? I did that once and it wouldn’t barely cast.
rocknemo
The anti reverse should not be lubed, it will slip.
MA Frog Man
He may not have the roller clutch sleeve keyed right to the drag plate. Even if he lubed the AR alot it would still catch sometimes. If you could post a picture of the main shaft and how he has it assembled I might be able to tell basskickinrednick, StriperAddict and 207klasher
