MaseMan44
I just recently purchased a Deps Slideswimmer 145, and I'm not sure the hooks will be strong enough to horse a fish to the boat. Do you guys have any hook size/model recommendations for the 145? I do not want to accidentally turn the bait into a fast sink, as it already sinks about as fast as I would like! Thanks. JeremyWrightt
99% sure that the 145 comes stock with size 3’s. I’ve put both owner st-45s and st-56s (2x and 3x strength) in size 4’s, which actually helps the bait keep a good slow sink. Size 4 if anything looks a bit more streamlined to me. I would assume that the 2x hooks would be lighter, right? I will definitely experiment with both, though.
