rgkharrison Posted April 9, 2021 Report Share Posted April 9, 2021 Im pretty new to the forum but I’m so confused, clearly made worse from the forum going down for awhile. When did the March tourney actually end with all the downtime? And are catches only submitted on here? I’ve got a few more catches but none that I would think would compete. It's been a few years since I've caught another dd so needless to say I was in a bit of shock to say the least when I landed this beast and the feeling was like catching my first dd all over again. While blurting out what seemed like 100 omgs and four letter expletives all I can think of was to get her back in the water asap. So I quickly snapped some pics and let her go knowing she was in prespawn and I did not want to put alot of unnecessary stress on her. When looking through my pics what I didn't realize was that the bill on my cap was partially blocking my headlamp which blocked lighting to her while on the scale. I tried to brighten the pic but couldn't get much light to show through. Regardless, it felt sooo good to have caught her. Stoked!
