Jtelarkin08 Posted March 15, 2011 Report Share Posted March 15, 2011 THis week is about to be the perfect storm here in TX.. Full moon is coming sat.. Highs in the 80s all week and starting tomorrow lows in the 60s.. Couple that with a few of the best lakes in the area im gonna catch some toads this week. I plan on fishing all 7 days of this week.. I want to catch some big ones this week and they are gonna come on a swimbait.. I started the week off good at a local negiborhood lake.. She came on a bluegill colored mission fish.. Tomorrow and Wed ill be fishing lake worth then Friday and Sat Lake Fork and some ponds in between.. Ill keep posting pics on here as i catch them.. I can't recall it being like this in quite a while I'll be on Sandlin Weds - Fri then at Purtis on Sun. I've learned how to lob cast using my left hand so I'll be tossing some big baits after all. She had the head of about a 9 pounder but prolly only weighted 7 or so. She could have been more could have been less.. Im just pumped to get to fish all week.. Jtelarkin08 Posted March 17, 2011 Author Report Share Posted March 17, 2011 Well here is day 3 and WOW!! I went back to the same pond as the big one mon... Well i fished for 2 hours and never got a bite.. I threw a 316 bluegill and a mission fish.. well after it got dark i went to my grandmas bc she had cooked spighetti.. Well after we ate i decided to stop off at the little lake one more time for a night session.. I tied on my white FS shad SS and went after it. I have seen some fish cruising shallow wanting to spawn so i made a cast to a shallow flat and wham!!! Very first cast this one chokes it.. I couldnt believe it..
