jiggerjake
Can anyone recommend a shorter( 7'4"-7'6" )swim bait rod for treble hook lures in the 2-4oz category ? I like my 806 but it's not ideal for target casting.Fish have been holding tight to wood lately and I need something I can make a more accurate cast with.A little shorter handle would be nice too. CG_Fishes
I use a fenwick elite tech predator MH (1-4oz) for all my bigger baits. It has no problem handling any sort of bait, would definitely recommend, although it is a heavy rod if that would bother you. It balances nicely with a swimbait size reel jiggerjake

They are pretty looking. They list the action as "XH". That is a power NOT an action (as in moderate, fast, etc) Why do rod companies do this? Makes them look like a bunch of suites that don't know anything about the product they are selling. Biggs and 168 Rookie

Must be a mistake on that shops part. Pretty sure they are the only shop in NA that carries these but still there’s no excuse really. Action of these rods are med-fast. Thank you. looking at the one picture on their site the rod does look pretty parabolic, which is what I'm looking for.Not to bash on any one particular rod company. In general I see a lot of rod companies list rods this way. Leaves me scratching my head. Biggs and chevro1et
