Emirski
What line do you guys throw your citizens and Hudds on?
basskickinrednick
In texas I'd use 20 # or 25# sunline sniper floro Emirski, PKNNH and chevro1et
EasyGreen
For 8 inch Hudd, I throw 50lb power pro maxcuatro braid with 25lb seaguar inviz x leader Emirski
MEGAMAG119
17-20lb flouro. Pick your favorite Emirski, basskickinrednick and Jean-Luc
MEGAMAG119
My favorite rod to throw both of those baits is a Dobyns 765 or 766. Ive got a hand full of swimbait rods but for some reason, those rods just feel perfect for those baits in particular. I like a shorter handle for skipping those Hudds under docks. That 68 skips like a river rock Emirski
MEGAMAG119
Also, with both of those baits, you gotta let em eat it. It’s bite-set-crack. Emirski

With a FC leader and soft bait attached, there should be no buoyancy issues. DrewManFishing and Jean-Luc 1
SoCalBassBum
20lb flouro, 6” citizen to the 9” battles Shad.
MattGbaz
I use 20 for 6,7,7.5 and 25 for 9in. 8in hudd can fish on either
Toker710
Just dont get red label... It works for open hook baits but when you really gotta set that hook it will snap. At least it did on me 89Fisher

Phatcat360
I have always preferred #20lb Sunline FC Sniper for use with citizen 6, 7, Battleshad 7.5 to hudd 68 & hudd 8” The flourocarbon keeps the bait in the column without rising as easy on the retrieve, but more importantly flourocarbon has very low stretch which translate the moment you swing on a bite.
