swimbaitrookie Posted June 3, 2021 Report Share Posted June 3, 2021 I had a strange day Sunday in that I could not get the big fish hooked up on the Yunique G2. Normally a bite on that bait is as good as in the boat but I was using a slightly slower rod than normal and they weren't hitting it on the fall, but instead wanted it crawled along the rocks. I had dumped 3 strong fish before this one bit and although it wasn't big, I wanted to get a weight on her. But given my luck that day, even when I got one in the boat it managed to find a way to escape! Not to be outdone, later in the day I hooked a giant on a long cast that surfaced and spit the bit .
