Big Swimbaits on Lake Fork

Not my content, but a great watch: Zaldain putting a hurting on Lake Fork bass with what looks like a Tater Hog Hogfather.

Man, sometimes I really wish we had big swimbait-sized gizzard shad around me instead of tiny crankbait-sized threadfin.

As good as he and some others caught them on the big giides, that was nothing compared to the way it was a few years ago when glides were just getting on the scene.  There were wolfpacks of 7 to 10 lb fish that would move up on the points.  You'd see giant shad jumping three feet out of the water chased by a giant.  That's when you knew it was about to get good!
